I must agree that the army list style in V4 will be very unsuited to Spain in Flames. I do think there are a few things that could be implemented from V4, notably the new artillery stats and weapon ranges.

I am inclined to agree but... Is it helpful for new players who will come along in the future to make them learn a defunct version of Flames of War? I think it is not helpful. Let us first see what version four is like and then make an informed decision.

Battlefront (via WWPD) have confirmed that the existing rule books for "early war" and "late war" can still be used with the new addition. Hopefully the changes will be slight as they were from V2 to V3.

Battlefront have confirmed that version four of Flames of War is coming in March 2017. Perhaps we should await this before finalising changes to Spain in Flames?
