First we would like to introduce ourselves, we are an organization committee in Coimbra (Portugal) and we are organizing a national event entitled GTS ("Grande Torneio do Sul"). This event has already a lot of history here in Portugal and it gathers every year around 50-70 participants playing different miniature gaming formats (FoW, Warhammer, Warhammer 40k, Warmachine). It is usually held in Lisbon but this year, for the first time, the GTS is coming to Coimbra.

The FoW rules are written in Portuguese so I am going to give a small enlightening summary.
Rules:
- Price: 10 euros + 8 euros (for the lunches in both days);
- 4 Games 1550pts Early War - this tournament has some special periods for participants to play other miniature games, visit different showcases, play on mini-events (more information will be provided in our website);
- Each game will have the duration of 2h30;
- The armies from the following books will be allowed:
- Blitzkrieg;
- Burning Empires;
- Rising Sun;
- Hellfire and Back;
- Barbarossa;
- Official Battlefront PDF files, published until 15 days before the event;
- Wargames Illustrated.
- Games:
1st Game: Meeting Engagement (Fair Fight);
2nd Game: No Retreat (Defensive Battle);
3rd Game: Dust Up (Fair Fight);
4th Game: Breakthrough (Mobile Battle);

- 4 Victory Points if you have all of your army painted;
- Awards (in material):

2nd Place: 30 euros
3rd Place: 20 euros
Best Painted Army (is evaluated independently): 50 euros
Sportsmanship: 15 euros (this is a special and random award which will have in consideration not only the sportsmanship in each game, but also the interest of the participants in the side-events, etc. - more information to come).
